Many kits can be installed at home, although bulb orientation, cooling clearance, and beam adjustment still need to be checked.

 

Bi-LED projectors cost more because installation may require opening the headlight assembly, 

mounting the projector, resealing the housing, and professionally aligning the beam.

 

The higher cost pays for better optical control rather than brightness alone.
